Nature lovers will find in Andorra a country that has known how to preserve its environment throughout the centuries.

In its small territory, it has three natural parks:

Madriu Natural Park, declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

It offers its visitors a view of the balanced relationship between man and nature.

Its paths traverse the valley along trails of varying difficulty suitable for all.

One of its many routes will take you to the Font Verd Refuge, at an altitude of about 1880m, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view that is hard to forget once reached.

It is accessed via the road that leads to Engolasters Lake, just a few dozen meters before it ends.

.

Comapedrosa Natural Park

The Comapedrosa Natural Park, located in Andorra, is home to the country’s highest peak, the Alt de Comapedrosa, which rises to 2,942 meters.

This park is a paradise for hiking and nature lovers, with spectacular landscapes of glacial lakes, waterfalls, and lush forests.

Its biodiversity is rich and varied, hosting endemic species of flora and fauna from the Pyrenees.

Perfect for exploring mountain routes, the Comapedrosa Park offers an authentic wild nature experience in the heart of Andorra, with its trails relentlessly ascending to conquer its summit.

Although the climb to the top can be challenging, many of its paths are of medium or low difficulty.

Its access point is located in Arinsal, past the tunnel.

Sorteny Natural Park

The Sorteny Natural Park is a natural jewel in Andorra, known for its incredible biodiversity and alpine landscapes.

With more than 700 species of flora and over 100 species of butterflies, many of them unique to the Pyrenees, the park is an ideal destination for hiking and nature observation.

In addition to its rich vegetation, Sorteny is home to various species of native fauna in a setting of meadows, forests, and rivers. This protected area invites you to discover the essence of Pyrenean nature in a peaceful and accessible environment for all mountain lovers.

The park is easily accessible by the road leading to the Arcalís station, and the ascent to the refuge is a walk of little difficulty but great beauty, as it follows the river until reaching the majestic beauty of the glacial valley.
